Camp in Grottbyn

At Grottbyns Camping right next to Skåne Zoo, you can rent a cabin, room or a campsite all year round. The campsite also houses people who want to stay in a hostel, containing a total of 4 rooms and 12 beds. If you want to live in a cave, there is the option of renting a “cave room” with all modern conveniences on the inside. Take the opportunity to feel like a living hobbit of a lifetime where Scania has suddenly become a County and where adventures await around every corner.

Here you find peace from the stressful everyday life, enjoy the peace with the forest around you and birds in the pond and sometimes you can hear the evening howl of the wolf from the zoo next door. Super nice staff, good service and always fresh service houses.

Completely unique campsite with a hostel in a cave village that almost takes you straight into the saga of the world of the ring.
Comfortable and isolated rooms, nice service houses with plenty of space and super nice staff. Our two year old loved the little playground and the proximity to the Skåne Zoo made this campsite a new favorite for all of us.

​The campsite is nestled in the deciduous forest just north of Höör, next door to the Skåne Zoo. In the nearest urban area, Höör, you can find all imaginable services, shopping and restaurants. We are centrally located in Skåne. The campsite has approx. 120 electric pitches and large grassy areas for tents and campers who do not want electricity. There are two service houses on the campsite, the larger one almost resembles an entrance to the Lord of the Rings.

A larger room for about 50 people.
It is also possible to rent a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to this premises.

There is also a smaller room for about 30 people.

Here is Grottbyn!

We are located approximately 2 km north of Höör, in the beautiful deciduous forest, with beech, oak and birch. Parts of our facility are nature reserves. Our nearest neighbor is Skåne Zoo. Nearby are Bosjökloster, Björkviksbadet (Höör's own adventure pool) and Fulltofta Nature Center, just to name a few of the places to visit. Vaxsjön with its nice swimming area is only a 30-minute walk away through a cozy forest path. There is also a football field, barbecue areas and fishing opportunities.
