The Grottbyn Skånes Djurparks campsite is run by the Eriksson family, Edith & Niclas with their adult children Emma & Filip.

We are located approximately 2 km north of Höör, in the beautiful deciduous forest, with beech, oak and birch. Parts of our facility are nature reserves.
Our nearest neighbor is Skåne Zoo. Nearby are Bosjökloster, Björkviksbadet (Höör’s own adventure pool) and Fulltofta Nature Center, just to name a few of the places to visit…
Vaxsjön with its nice swimming area is only a 30-minute walk away through a cozy forest path. There is also a football field, barbecue areas and fishing opportunities.

From our central location, you can quickly get to all of Skåne’s sights, – not to mention Denmark and Copenhagen. In our vicinity there are hiking trails, lovely bathing spots and fishing lakes, and we are wall to wall with Skåne Zoo, only a 5-minute walk away!
Experience in the middle of Scania
It is great fun to be able to offer a place to your visitors that is so perfectly located in the middle of Skåne. In addition to all the exciting things that can be found in central Scania, the proximity to so much else to experience is unique.
Whether you want to take a day trip to lovely Helsingborg on the west coast, cozy Kivik on the east coast or beautiful Ystad on the south coast, you can get there in less than an hour. Or why not get on the train in Höör and after less than 90 minutes get off in Copenhagen?!
There is also a swimming and fishing lake within walking distance (1.5 km).
We hope and believe that we can make this place something extra. We want you to always feel welcome and to always be able to get exactly what you are looking for from your leave.
With us you can live in your own caravan/mobile home/tent or rent a room in a cave or stay in one of our cozy cabins.
Free Wi-fi is available in most parts of the area, ask for the code at reception.
